How can a low voltage issue be solved in our area?

To solve low voltage issues, contact the SDO, XEN, or SE of your area. They will inspect the transformer load and line conditions, and if necessary, submit an request to HESCO Headquarters for system augmentation work.

What can be done to extend the load of electricity for commercial purposes?

HESCO offers an A & A (Abridged & Agreement) form for load extension. To extend your load, you need to pay the security difference between the sanctioned load and the applied load. Additionally, you will have to pay for:

  • The cost of material required for the electricity load extension.
  • Any capital connection subsidy difference if you obtained benefits while setting up your original HESCO Connection.

What should be done when you receive the HESCO bills under the previous owner's name?

The procedure for changing the name on a bill is the same as applying for a new connection. You will need to submit name change documentation (e.g., sale deed, CNIC) to the local HESCO office.

What can be done when your new HESCO meter runs faster than the older one?

Often, a new digital meter works more accurately and records exact consumption. Older analog meters can become slow or sluggish over time due to wear, dust, or other factors. If you suspect the new meter is faulty, you can request a meter test by paying a testing fee at your local division office.

How can dangerous wires and poles be removed or relocated from a doorway?

If electrical poles or wires pose a hazard because of building expansion or layout, you can apply for relocation. Visit the Executive Engineer (XEN) of your operation area. The engineering team will survey the site and prepare an estimate of the relocation cost, which must be paid by the applicant.
